a/n: wrote during summer school.
o1.
kibum scrunches his nose as sweat clings to his brow. his movements are jerky and labored but eventually he lets out a sigh of relief.
"one day," he murmurs as he picks up the newly mended shorts in his hands, "i'm gonna make minho play soccer naked."
o2.
the knife goes flying into the sink and kibum lets out a small squeak of fear. taemin looks up at him with eyes wide and teary and reluctantly the older man reaches out to rub the boy's back up and down.
"don't worry, taemin-ah," he starts, nervous chuckle soon following. "you'll learn how to cut an apple without killing people one day."
taemin beams and a part of kibum melts, in love and in anxiety.

a pink tongue creeps out between tight lips as his fingers shake and legs quiver. yes, yes, he's so close.
kibum's eyes widen as the tip of the card touches the other and he readies himself to scream in joy before jinki stumbles from the kitchen, says "dust mi-," sneezes, and falls onto the coffee table.
and evidently, the stack of cards.
he tries scrambling away with shrieks of horror dragging him down as kibum bellows, "hyung, one day i'm gonna-" but jinki's foot gets in his mouth too quickly for him to finish. kibum uses his teeth, anyway.

"one day," jonghyun huffs as he pulls up his boxers and squirms his arm under kibum's head, twisting his body to face the rapper.
kibum smiles softly, "one day." and then he pats jonghyun's ass just to watch him yelp in pain and knee himself in the stomach.

tears fall and he curls himself into a ball again, four pairs of eyes on him. he can't stop his hiccups, his moans, "i don't want to, why can't you"s.
jinki's the first to break the silence with misty eyes as he murmurs, "we can see each other during the breaks."
jonghyun sniffles loudly and then grabs kibum consolingly. "we're still together even when jinki's gone, and we'll come back together when he's back."
taemin wipes his eyes fervently and minho rubs the younger boy's arms as he watches kibum whimper softly.
"i can't," he whispers.
"but we have to." kibum doesn't know who says it but he nods his head anyway, tears cooling on his red cheeks. jonghyun's lips quickly kiss the rest away.
"you can still be a diva on shows, kibum."
kibum laughs once.
he breathes, "come back soon, jinki." the leader smiles brightly, unnecessary tears still clinging to his eyelashes.
"i will."
"one day," kibum sniffs, "i'll make you guys my dwaenjang jjigae again."
taemin pales, "no, hyung, you don't-"
the rapper shoots a joking glare at the youngest boy's direction and everyone laughs into their elbows, jonghyun laughing into kibum's.
"one day," minho murmurs and the others nod.
"one day."
end.
i realized that i had written "five" originally, looked at the blank #5 on my paper, went "huh?" and then wrote a breakup drabble haha.
well, no matter. this was just me trying to write short stuff. hope you enjoyed :) (and i hope the jongkey one wasn't too confusing! aha.)
