Laurel got a Croc-A-Doodles kit at Christmas and tried them out on an older pair of knockoff foam clogs she had. She had some trouble with fine control with the washable paint pens and wanted the results to be brighter, so we cleaned the old clogs off and I took a couple bottles of dimensional fabric paint to them ( Read more... )

Colonial Day was a trip. With no breaks between groups rotating through station, I was on my feet for three hours straight threading needles, distributing pinned sandwiches of fabric and batting to kids, and chasing after bits that blew away since the wind never settled on a single direction for me to rig up a windbreak.
