My father just phoned. I came out as trans to him. He heard my dropped voice. I've not spoken to him in 2 years. A death in the family made him want to be friendly. It's a good thing (not the death obviously), but I'm surprised.

Yay for my family being non-sucky for a change! I imagine I'll still be banned from his house though.
