So it's past time for resolutions. Pretty much the same as last year:

I guess, despite waking up yesterday morning to find icy rain on top of two days of snow. We hunkered down yesterday, I went back to bed after breakfast and slept until almost one o'clock.

Problem being, I hadn't realized how low on black toner the copier was, and of course the copier supply store closed early for the holiday. Keeping my fingers crossed that I get all my copies; otherwise I might end up spending Saturday at the print shop (Office Max/Depot) getting Sunday's bulletins made up!

... well, not exactly creeks, its the annual 'Caught between two rivers and its been raining a lot' thingy. We even got tornado sirens on Saturday.

With the Governor declaring that the 'exercise of religion' is an 'essential service', Session may decide that I should go back to work normal hours again. They've already said that small groups (under 10 people) can meet in the church building as long as they observe safety protocols -- wearing masks, 6 feet of distance between people, liberal ( Read more... )

With the way things have been going at work, I didn't DARE take my annual Birthday Week of vacation this year, which make me even gladder that I was able to take that week in May to go down to Texas for Da Niece's graduation from Texas Tech.

 Okay, the pile of tree branches has diminished by about half, thanks to several evenings of concentrated wood-chipping by Husband and myself.  Husband tried to rent a wood-chipper and couldn't -- apparently there are liability issues  involved -- so he ended up buying a small one from Home Depot.  Because the lowest price we were quoted by tree ( Read more... )
