Might Be Going Back to Work Soon

With the Governor declaring that the 'exercise of religion' is an 'essential service', Session may decide that I should go back to work normal hours again. They've already said that small groups (under 10 people) can meet in the church building as long as they observe safety protocols -- wearing masks, 6 feet of distance between people, liberal use of sanitizer, etc. and sign the insurance Liability Waiver. Last week I ended up going in to the church three times for up to 3-4 hours each time in order to put together the Sunday bulletin to e-mail out and put together 70+ physical copies of the newsletter to snail-mail to member who don't have the internet. I've said all along that I feel reasonably safe being up at the church seeing as I'm usually the only one there. Pastor has been posting Sunday sermons on FaceBook; yesterday while I was there putting the newsletter together, he came in to record from the Sanctuary!

So it's quite possible I will be returning to the office sometime soon. Not sure if the past month and a half counts against vacation time, and it's not like I've been totally absent. I so rarely manage to take my full 3 weeks during the year, and maybe one or two sick days out of five.
