Okay, the pile of tree branches has diminished by about half, thanks to several evenings of concentrated wood-chipping by Husband and myself.  Husband tried to rent a wood-chipper and couldn't -- apparently there are liability issues  involved -- so he ended up buying a small one from Home Depot.  Because the lowest price we were quoted by tree ( Read more... )

Last night's Severe  Thunderstorm brought down approximately 2/3rds of what was left of the Wildlife Refuge Tree....  We were incredibly lucky, in that it mostly landed on the back porch and ramp, totally missing garage, cars, mudroom porch and stairs, and our next door ( Read more... )
