Tomorrow is Father's day.  So we'll be having German Chocolate cake at my house.  Which is yummy for people who are not me.  But I'm pretty excited about the presents we got him (a handheld GPS navigator, shh!!)  I think he'll have fun with it anyway.  For a while at least.  It'll give him an excuse to go get lost in the woods, which is one of his ( Read more... )

At about 8 am this morning a loud alarm went on around the city, followed by a vocal message.  In japanese, of course.  Beyond my understand, except "fukuchiyama shi fukuchiyama shi no ...  onegaitashimasu..."  yea.  That's about it.  I wasn't to worried about it, last time this warning thing had done anything it was a warning for flooding near the ( Read more... )

I made it to the Firefly Festival.  Being out and about did make me sick again.  BUT IT WAS BEAUTIFUL.  all 5 minutes of it.  lol.

While checking my myspace I saw a twitter from Miyavi mentioning that it's been 49 days since the 3/11 earthquake. So I thought I, too, would take a moment to pray for the victims.
