So life is being difficult right now.
Everything I need is giving me the run around. To get a phone I need a house, to get a house I need a phone, etc etc....EVERYTHING is running this way.
And THEN.
I needed money to put down for anything (apartment, phone, etc...) so I got my mom to transfer some money to my account at a Japanese bank. The Japanese bank won't accept it for some reason--I got that message on Friday evening (after they contacted the company I worked for before and that company had one of the other foreign teachers FB me) and haven't been able to do anything about it because Japanese banks are closed on weekends and this weekend just happens to be one of those luxurious 3 day weekends (by the way, happy umi no hi!). The bank is local to where I used to live, so to deal with them I have to take a train there. Don't really have enough money for a train,
SO....
I tried to withdraw someone from the Post Office ATM with my American debit card. It wouldn't let me. Told me the transaction was declined. Called the bank via skype. They couldn't find any reason as to why. I dreamed about it last night and might have an answer, so I'm going to try that but....
at the moment I have 4000Y and I need 3800Y of it for the train ride to and from the bank tomorrow, in which I will hopefully be able to convince the idiot bank to accept the transfer. (or just become the crazy white girl who bursts into tears in the middle of their bank).

Being extremely short on cash right now I've basically holed myself up in my hostel room watching Gossip Girl. (interspersed with more productive things, of course.)
