Louisbourg is done, and I got photos of one skirt and the jacket this morning.  I will try to get the other skirt this afternoon so I can pack it and ship it back.  Money arrived yesterday too.  Most of the funds will go to my insurance this year, but there is also this knitting silk and stupid small needles I want to buy ( Read more... )

Yeah, so, the getting up early to walk the dog has been a bust.  Rainy mornings are not helping me mentally.  Instead, I have tried this yoga DVD I had instead.  There is a 20 minute evening program and a 15 minute morning program.  I have done it 2 days in a row now.  It is great for relaxation, and really showed me how "tight" my body is.  I have ( Read more... )

We got the trim in the sewing room painted last night.  There was a delay in needing to drive to Sidney to get more wall paint (langford was backordered on the brand we like).  Tonight will be putting most of the room to rights.  I plan on cutting Louisbourg stuff on Saturday.  Since we know have 2 tables, I think I don't have to cut on the floor ( Read more... )

Yay - a slow day at work.  this is after 2 and half days of almost flat out.  Monday I actually took lunch and there was a lull in the afternoon for about 15 mintutes.  Tuesday was flat out, eating lunch while inputting a large pay and yesterday was busy up until 1.  Today has been quiet since 10:30.  I suspect tomorrow will be the same, because we ( Read more... )

The weekend was good, just not as a planned. I was actually able to go out Saturday morning and get a couple of bits of clothes (I hate clothes shopping) and got my groceries. I am sooo no longer at work, mentally. I am tired of the same questions over and over, the lack of knowledge of owners of how there business works, the blame on the company, even though they sign a contract saying we are not legally responsible.
