Countdown to Daffodil - 9 days. Site issue resolved with no problems. Attendence seems to be down, not sure how much is economy or my lack of advertising. Bit of both likely. May also be just more plan to day trip with out feast. I have heard feasts here have gone not so good, so folks are not so keen on feast. I think P is likely to make an impression. Thanks to creativity of Ysane, there will be a site token. Quick and easy to do. I am hoping the event breaks even, I don't think it will make any money though. We shall see.
P is going to be deployed to a Nato ship, a Dutch one. The ship is only 2 or 3 years old or so, so has the latest and greatest I think. Most of his time will be spent off the coast of Africa. He joins the ship in Halifax in June. There are leave periods in July and December, but heck knows what will actually happen with those. He will be with them until jan. I guess I will have plenty of time for knitting and such.
I am hoping to finish the 2 Louisbourg skirts before the weekend (one just needs buttons and buttonholes) then I just have the jacket left. Next weekend I do not expect to get any work done. Saturday will be long and it is time change that weekend, so I will be getting up late Sunday, I am sure.
That seems to be all in the brain at the moment. I have defintely reached the "can't wait for the event to be over" point in autocrating. Always seems to happen. And I plan to do a mini-road trip the weekend after, just haven't decided where yet.
