On this episode of Adventures in Wine Making, we attempted peach wine. Again, we'll let you know in a year how it turns out. We are considering making watermelon or, if Joy gets us the recipe, Cherry Bounce in the next week or so.

Thank you all so much for the encouraging comments for Trooper and I! We are both doing very, very well (full energy, just a little sore). I think we have the majority of the surgeries out of the way. Whether or not Beloved needs one remains to be seen. They are trying some alternatives first.

I decided that my objections to volunteering could be overcome - so I signed up. I really, really hope I  don't regret it, but at this point I am getting excited about the awards again.
