alrighty guys...so i'm heading off to the alaskan wilderness this afternoon. we leave sacramento around 3:18 pm then fly to seattle and change planes...then we get to ketchikan around 8:45pm (12:45am for you east coasters). we are staying overnight in ketchikan because one of the sponsors owns a bed and breakfast there and they will have a hot ( Read more... )

so i got to florida at about 1:00 am on friday morning. we were delayed in dallas first because our stewardesses were cleaning another plane and then again because the co-pilot's seatbelt was broken. so we made it to our hotel around 2:30 am. we're a days inn and it's a cute hotel ( Read more... )

so it was a relatively uneventful flying day which was extremely better than when i went home. the only thing was that when we got to salt lake city we had to sit there for 15 or so minutes because there wasn't anyone hooking up the ramp so we could get off the plane. and we were afraid we were going to miss our connecting flight but the previous ( Read more... )

so first i forgot to mention that our team ate at a Thai Restaurant across the street from the base last night. it was okay. i mean it wasn't bad and i think that if i were to eat it more often then i might get used to it. it was just different. but i definitely made sure to say that i didnt want it to be spicy ( Read more... )
