Electricity. Solar power. PV. EV.

One of the houses in my neighborhood recently purchased a Tesla Model 3, so that is one more EV nearby. The same house installed a PV solar system, a big one. I counted about 25 panels on three sections of their roof. *huzzah!*

timediff - c++ version - using with gnu date

The gnu date command give the current date on the computer system. The --iso-8601 parameter tells date to provide in the YYYY-MM-DD format

Program compiles clean. Now need to test the maths, and vette the program.

Already discovered that it is not telling the user 1000-01-01 is an invalid year. Time to examine/test/debug using DDD.

DDD self-reminder: use the F2 key to run a command-line program, so the command-line arguments can be given.

I wrote timediff, in C, a few years ago.

With each release of a new Debian Stable, I would recompile/test, and apply fixes as needed.

Well, the latest version of gcc that is in the current Debian Stable, is doing something unexpected, and I think it's a bug, but do not want to go crazy to fix it.

Utility electrical meter shows 31,172kWh today.

2014-03-28 meter was 27,148kWh.

4014/294 = 13.69kWh/day = 570watts/hr

For over ten years, we have used powweb as our vanity website provider, for geophile.net

Just recently, things had started to 'not work out', so we have just recently switched to Dreamhost.
