My neighbour has done what I could not: organise someone to take down the jasmine vine that sat over the ruined fence that separated our two properties. They also took a fair chunk of the fence with them and now there is an open space between us, and I'm finding it quite liberating. My canvas prints have just been delivered. Photos (of printed photos? How strange) to come later. :)

Jonny Depp was the best thing about Chuck and the Choc Factory. Without him the movie would have been far, far less interesting. Strange as it may seem for me to say, I wish there'd been less CGI and more actual mechanics. Case in point: the opening titles. CGI makes everything so easy and, in this case, far too clean. I played netball last night. I used to really enjoy it, but I think I've moved on. It was kinda like going back in time, regressing, not moving forward. There's a been there done that aspect to it.
