1. Last night was like, one of the best sports nights ever! Royals won 10-0, which means there's a game 7 of the World Series tonight. Penguins won 8-3 (NOT A HOCKEY SCORE!). And the Canucks won 4-1.

* I keep poking at an essay I might post someday about why I like hockey, since everyone who has found out in the last year I've gotten into has looked as if I told them I like to be nibbled at by weevils. + I continued my exploration of local parks with walking trails, going to Meadowdale Beach Park. It's a lovely park, nice forest with a stream running by the very wide trail down to the beach, which itself is a nice, long, easy to walk rocky beach. * Got to go to my second baseball game of the year on Tuesday night! It was a gorgeous night and the Mariners beat the White Sox. We were in nose-bleed seats, but we were right above home plate and had a perfect view of the entire field. We also got the free geek crossover t-shirts we were wanting. * Some good stuff this weekend. I'm not that concerned about the Pens losing the first game of the series to the Bruins, though I am surprised about the lack of offense.
