Everyone in the family has been sick for most of January. Dad had to be hospitalized for two days! He had the flu and pneumonia. He's home now and doing much better. I didn't have the flu, but my cold was bad enough to make me miserable!

At least I had Courtney and Mr. Spock bear to keep me company!

The Canadian wildfires this past week have sent a terrible amount of smoke southwards. New York City looked apocalyptic. My nephew had to leave work early and stay inside because he had trouble breathing. One of his lungs doesn't work as well as the other (started at birth), so Katie has been worried. I bought a bunch of miniature masks, thinking they would work on my dolls, but they were too small. I turned them into ornaments and put them on a gold tree with beads. Here's the tree with Evette!
