Actually, it's been ten days. I'm definitely improving. I have one spot that hurts whenever I stand. It's annoying more than anything. The skin stings a bit when I take a shower. But I'm much better. I'm wearing a binder at night, and it helps a lot. My appointment with the PA went well. She said my blood pressure was a bit elevated, but that it ( Read more... )

Virus or no virus, life has to go on. Rory had an appointment with the vet. It was so weird- waiting in the car while Rory was taken inside. No contact with other pets or their owners. But that's the way it has to be until the virus is contained.

He was a good boy. He's in excellent health.

Franklin the cat has passed away. Paul was home when Franklin died. :( We're not sure how old he was exactly, but he was probably around 16. He had a good, long life. This is going to take some getting used to. I've been cleaning up Eddie's stuff- his food and water dishes, little box, toys, cat bed...there are still cat hairs on a lot of things. I found his moose and almost started crying again. When I get the ashes, instead of spreading them in Mom's garden, I think I'll bury them with his moose. He loved that ( Read more... )

Eddie had to be put to sleep today. He had a tumor in his lung, and it spread fast. He had too much fluid in his lungs to breathe. No wonder he wasn't eating. Poor baby.
