Yesterday I made tacos for dinner which was amazing. I think I will be able to eat leftovers til I go to the retreat this weekend. Sweeeeeet. Only bad thing was that my grocery store used to sell taco flavored corn chips for 100 yen and they don't have them any more. Got an e-mail from the JET Alumni Association.  It starts with this: "I am writing today to remind you of the JET Program Alumni Association, now that you have ended your JET contracts and may be heading back to the United States."

Ended my contract?  I'm still in JET..... obviously someone didn't check very well when they sent those out.

I forgot, today makes 25 months in Japan.  I suppose if you counted the time in study abroad it would be more but then again I have taken some trips home which would make it less.... so let's just say 25 months.  Here's to another 11 months on my contract, and hopefully more time in Japan after that ( Read more... )
