Just remembered a part of my dream last night.... I was shopping in some store most likely in Japan and there were these radios and pillows shaped like videogame controllers in different colors. I really wanted one haha.

I'm off for the train in about 15 minutes so of course I'm doing last minute packing :P yaaaaaay Tokyo. Hope I don't forget

Went to work today but my stomach felt funky so I finally went to the doctor to make sure it wasn't the flu.... apparently kids at my schools are starting to get swine flu so I wanted to make sure. Yesterday I made tacos for dinner which was amazing. I think I will be able to eat leftovers til I go to the retreat this weekend. Sweeeeeet. Only bad thing was that my grocery store used to sell taco flavored corn chips for 100 yen and they don't have them any more. Got the information for this year's JLPT! It's going to be in Yoyogi. That's on Yamanote and Chuo lines on the west side of Tokyo BTW (Yamanote being the best line ever because it is a circle going around the city, and Chuo being a (mostly) straight line from left to right across the city ( Read more... )

Should be a fun weekend :D

I don't expect to be there that long because we're taking local trains so we'll probably get there in the afternoon/evening....... and we have to leave tomorrow afternoon/evening to make it back by Sunday night.  But it should still be interesting.

Why did I wake up before 6 AM even though I went to bed late?  A good question.  It wasn't intentional but I couldn't stop thinking and then I just couldn't sleep any more.  It's ok though because I am doing more laundry haha.  I'll probably be exhausted tonight but maybe I can sleep on the train down to Tokyo.... except I'm getting off in Omiya ( Read more... )
