Yesterday I made tacos for dinner which was amazing. I think I will be able to eat leftovers til I go to the retreat this weekend. Sweeeeeet. Only bad thing was that my grocery store used to sell taco flavored corn chips for 100 yen and they don't have them any more. This is sad because I was going to have taco nachos with them.... and now that they're gone, the ONLY chips my store has are potato chips. SERIOUSLY. I can't make nachos with potato chips!!! What kind of person decides to stop selling the only corn chips in the whole store D:

Anyway. Today there was a special lesson and ALL the teachers in the school came to watch my last class. Then we had a meeting starting at 4:00 which resulted in me getting home from work an hour late. The meeting went well though.... many people had positive things to say about the lesson.

I got an e-mail from one of the girls in Bible study saying she won't be on tonight.... which is fine but there are only 3 of us so if 1 person is gone it's weird having it just be 2 of us. We usually just skip having it in that situation. So I'm not sure if it's on or not. It's really ok with me either way. I don't have to do much tonight because I have leftover tacos ^_____^ so no bothering with cooking.

Finally made a blog post in the manga/anime/media blog. You can read it HERE :3 It's about the Alice manga that I've talked about in the past.

The next couple of weeks are probably going to kill me.....

My schedule:

Friday - work, spend the night at Lydia's
Saturday to Monday - JET Christian Fellowship retreat near Mt Fuji
Tuesday - work, I canceled online Bible study because I needed a breather between other things.
Wednesday night - work, small group at Lydia's
Thursday and Friday - prefectural JET conference
Saturday night - free gospel concert, spend the night at Lydia's
Sunday - church, Lydia's birthday

So even though Lydia is not going to the retreat it looks like I will be spending plenty of time with her! Which is cool because we don't spend too much time hanging out. She's awesome :) and I'm not sure how to get to her apartment haha so I'd better figure it out by Friday... and I should probably think of something to give her for her birthday even if it's not a real presenty-type thing.... I think I have a card I can give her.

Anyway after that I have the JLPT in Tokyo on December 6 so I will probably spend the whole weekend in Tokyo at Leah's.... I just need to contact Leah and make sure she will be around. She told me ages ago that I could stay there ANY time but I'm sure she'd want advance warning. And then my birthday is on December 13, which is also the next English church, which I will be leading worship for AGAIN.... this is a regular pattern emerging because Toyomi Sensei says she wants to encourage me to use my talents for God which is cool with me since I love singing but it's strange being the leader for once. I am hoping to have a bunch of people come to English church and then we can do something for my birthday afterward.
