Dad had to get a new car because the old one had one problem too many, and he got a used beige jaguar. In appearance it is much like the one he had for much of my childhood that caused us a lot of stress and broke down once on the New York-Pennslyvania border leaving us stranded. I love my mom. For my birthday, I requested the first two seasons of Robin of Sherwood. She then decided to try to get me the entire series. She wasn't aware, of course, that the third season isn't out on Region One yet, but she managed to track down half the season on Region Zero and got that too. Saw Pride and Prejudice last night. Another one of the better movies of a less-than-good year for them(though the second half has seen a significant improvement). Hannah has already posted a review in the Vinejournal, but contemplating further than she would, ( On Mary Bennett )

I cannot help but wonder that I have spent months struggling with the Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon non-corporeal sex ficlet, but the minute I threw Padme into the mix, the writing came easily. I actually had a pretty good day today. I went searching for Musical Evenings in the Captain's Cabin, and after nearly despairing located the second volume at a Borders.
