I got an A in Systems Analysis! Apparently Dr. Wang really liked our project. He said he's email us more feedback, but he hasn't yet. Though I think he might just be a lenient grader. Saw The Golden Compass today. I really wish it wasn't flopping, especially because it means the second movie probably won't get made now, and this movie would do much better if the other two were made.

( But it does have the classic problem of textbook adaptations )

Saw Hairspray yesterday. John Travolta may not have been the best person to cast for the drag role, but the music was good. Just got back from seeing OotP, and it looks like my favourite of the books may also become my favourite of the films. After Christopher Columbus made a pair of products, Alfonso Cuaron made a weird piece of art, and poor Mike Newell just tried to make sense of it all, David Yates shrugged all that off and made a good movie.

On Thursday evening mom, anibundel and I saw Sicko. It wasn't an easy movie to sit through. If we all sat through it, it might improve things in this country a lot, but naturally it's flopping. Saw "A Mighty Heart" yesterday. Angelina Jolie is amazing. Whoever was responsible for the editing of said movie is not.
Have to go read up about Sochi now.

I love my mom. For my birthday, I requested the first two seasons of Robin of Sherwood. She then decided to try to get me the entire series. She wasn't aware, of course, that the third season isn't out on Region One yet, but she managed to track down half the season on Region Zero and got that too.
