I had such a fun evening! It had everything: good company, good food, good atmosphere and good presents. Mika got to be Santa Claus, because he was the only one with the beard for it. Lumi kept trying to rip open the packages and later steal my presents, but she's only a year old, so I guess I can forgive her. That and she's ridiculously cute.

Saturday's party was fun. We played Coloretto, The Great Dalmuti, Lupus in Tabula and a clapping game with animals. I still have cookies and chocolate left.

I had a pretty good weekend. On Friday I went bowling with the Young Single Adults from church. During my rolls, when the ball was on its way to the gutter, it tended to swerve back to the middle and hit the pins. I was accused of witchcraft.

It's great to finally have my own place. I can cook whenever I want, have guests over and I have lots of space. I stil don't have any shelves, though. Hopefully I'll get some by next week, so I can pack my books and DVDs away and hold a housewarming party. With pancakes. :3 ( Read more... )

It's been a fun birthday. Jared got me a really nice red jacket, and Kristján got me an iPod. Wheee!
