I just handed in my last assignment, so now I'm freeeee! \o/
It's been a lot of work, but now I can relax for a while.

And tomorrow I'm turning 22. Last Sunday we had a picnic in the park to celebrate Jenny's and my 50th birthday. We look good for our age, don't we? :P

It's been a fun birthday. Jared got me a really nice red jacket, and Kristján got me an iPod. Wheee!
In the evening some friends came over to play; Halla, Haukur, JónÞór, Lísa, Alda, Ernir and Tóti. Haukur got me Munchkin Fu, Ernir a lollypop and a shirt that informs people that they are jerks and Alda a hilarious pirate puppet named Barnacle Bart. ( Read more... )

I've been having some fun times. Yesterday was my cousin's graduation, so there was a big family reunion type party. I'm related to some pretty darn cool people. My uncle Ronald's little girls are the cutest kids in the world. They're the sort of children that remind me just why I want to become a parent so badly. I've packed most of my stuff, including my laptop, which is why I'm sitting at a library computer. Can't complain, because these 'puters are so much faster and nicer than the ones at the uni. Today was such a great day. It was absolutely amazing. So much stuff happened that I will have to write it in chapters.

My friend Rachel once told me that there is a very dangerous gang in Manchester. (I've walked through central Manchester all by myself in the middle of the night quite a few times, but I'm still alive. I went out today, wearing my black winter coat and my new hat. I must have looked very sinister. :D

There are signed copies of the newest Discworld book in a local bookshop. Maybe I should get one for Mika's birthday. Incidentally he was born on the same day the first version of Windows was launched (20/11/85). I know this because I did research on ( Read more... )
