Everybody's Graduating

May 24, 2008 12:55

I've been having some fun times. Yesterday was my cousin's graduation, so there was a big family reunion type party. I'm related to some pretty darn cool people. My uncle Ronald's little girls are the cutest kids in the world. They're the sort of children that remind me just why I want to become a parent so badly. And they really, really love me. :D
Yrsa was there too and we talked a bit about writing. She agrees that it's a lot easier to get published in Iceland. She's a fun person to talk to.

Today will be a long day. But in a good way. First I'm going to Matti's graduation party. Yay! Then I might or might not bake cake with Alda, depending on how much time I have. I'm also supposed to be cleaning the church with Jared, but since there was a big clean-up day yesterday, I doubt there'll be much we have to do.
In the evening I'm going to play waitress at another graduation party if my memory serves me correctly. Then there's the big birthday party at Alda's place. I didn't even know that my birthday was one of the ones to be celebrated until Alda sent an e-mail. xD Yes, that's how bright I am. :P

I really need a haircut.
