I had a short written exam today. The people who have been studying for 12 weeks got the same exams as we who had only been studying for two weeks, so we weren't expected to ace it. It's just to see how much we know, so we can be put in the right group. I think I did pretty well, so maybe I'll be put into a super group and school will be less ( Read more... )

School today was kind of awful. Nothing particularly bad happened; just several small things managed to wind me up. Because there were oral exams going on, we didn't have a normal school day, and were instead herded from one room to another, without quite knowing what's going on. Now after taking a little exam that I think went well, and staying up half the night to put together a comedy project, my third university semester is now officially over. I have booked some flights and will be going to Finland on Friday. Hopefully it will be fun.

I think I deserve a nap now.

Did an exam on King Lear today. It wasn't half as scary as I thought it would be. I think my main fear was that the passages we'd have to analyse would be some very obscure and difficult ones, but luckily they were just two of the ones we'd done in class.
