We finished watching Person of Interest over the long weekend. I was holding out for a while because I just didn't want the story to end. However, I'll be on a panel at Arisia discussing the show, so I had to bite the bullet and find out what happened. I'm planning to look at the show from the perspective of long-form storytelling. In a week I'm on my way to lovely South Carolina for Costume-Con.Two years in a row. Kind of amazing after not attending for, oh, 17 years.

Now I have to figure out what the heck I'm wearing.

Way too early Friday morning I was whisked off to Logan by the long-suffering new_man for a quick trip to North Florida, ostensibly for my father's birthday. Since he had the poor planning to be in a multi-day race a couple hours away most of the time, it was more of a mother-daughter weekend.

This past weekend we were up in Maine, but not for GNE (although we saw some people on the road coming and going from there). Happily it was not nearly as hot as last year and we were transporting less stuff.
