I spent my lunch hour driving to the feed store to pick up grain... and then realized that I'd forgotten my wallet... so had to make the return trip to work, then BACK to the feed store. all I have to say is that I had one of the most amazing riding days today ever. Lisa Smit is SUCH an awesome clinician. I'll post more when I have the pictures uploaded, but WOW. Baby canter pirouette on Lacey (after some really awesome shoulder-in, and medium trot work!), and an AWESOME cross country lesson with Mac!! He had a freaking BLAST... ( Read more... )

where did the weekend go? I feel like it should be Thursday! OH! And I think my new allergy medicine is working! I felt REALLY good on Friday... I rode Lacey on Tuesday - she is sweet and willing, and feels very...solid, and uncomplicated. Which is a really nice feeling. We had a few nice moments, balanced of course with me feeling like "what the heck, I suck at this riding thing" every now and again. I think it's a great match though!
