I wish that this weather could last all year. This fall has been unbelievably beautiful here in Colorado. After our WINDY WINDY spring, our tornado and crazy insane hail/rain summer, it's been fabulous weather. Just in time for it to start getting dark at 6pm. Booo ( Read more... )

I rode Lacey on Tuesday - she is sweet and willing, and feels very...solid, and uncomplicated. Which is a really nice feeling. We had a few nice moments, balanced of course with me feeling like "what the heck, I suck at this riding thing" every now and again. I think it's a great match though! As I was driving to work this morning, I saw someone pulled over by a highway patrolman. "Poor sucker," I think to myself. "The cop was hiding on top of the overpass and caught you." Well, good news - I feel better today. I actually slept well last night. Kent took my momma and I out for dinner, it was nice to just sit and talk for a bit! My weekend starts today. Yes, I'm aware that it's monday. But in actuality, it's a day to rejoice! Trisha and Kent came home last night! YAHOOO!
