One day remaining until I start my cross country train trip. Unfortunately, I'm about as organized as I usually am at this point in the process. I'll need to adjust my list of things to do before I leave down to the point where it will actually fit into the time I have remaining before I leave.

Last weekend, I went to Chicago to see my sister and participate in the MP3 experiment.( Fortunately, I don't appear in the pictures. )

I've been following for some time now the "missions" completed by Improv Everywhere, kind of wishing that I could join in. There's an easy reason why I haven't - they are in New York; I'm not.

I have a bit of a fascination with carousels. Whenever I encounter a functioning carousel, I've always taken at least one ride. (The only exception to this is my recent trip to Navy Pier, which does have a working carousel. Thursday after work, I left for Chicago. ( I was fortunate to be met outside the train station by all of my younger sisters. )

I feel like I've hit a productive streak. Taking a day off work to focus on catching up on things that I want to do outside of work probably helped a lot. The only down side is that I expect that I'll be spending a bit of my spare change. This past weekend, I flew with David and Sasha to Baltimore. We turned out to be quite well matched flying partners as Sasha prefers the window seat, David prefers the aisle, and I'm quite content to be in the middle of people I know.
