Things to Do
Now that morning has dawned (*smile*), I find myself with extra time while I wait for project updates. And, now that it's a new day, all the websites I visit should have updates. Yippee!
I came across an article listing 99 things to do, in Chicago. Perfect timing, as I'm planning to go to Chicago for a weekend this summer.
But what's up with these things to do? "Cary a loaded squirt gun." Technically, I suppose it is something to do, but I must admit that I was expecting a list of things that would be entertaining, and preferably unique to Chicago. How is merely carrying a loaded squire gun amusing?
Out of the 99 things on the list, 21 have something to do with either eating or drinking something.
If I'm in Chicago, why would I want to squint & pretend I was somewhere else? (#49)
Overall, I'm disappointed in the list. I think my sister's idea of things to do was much better. If nothing else, I'd be happy going back to the little park by the zoo and dangling my feet in the stream as I read.
