So, this is kind of interesting... I've got one LJ friend who NORMALLY writes as least once a day is now writing only once every couple of days, and then another friend, who was absent from LJ for months is now not only back, but is doing like FIVE entries a day.  Granted, a lot of the entires are just polls or posting of pictures or one paragraph ( Read more... )

Okay, here's a sum up.. yesterday at work my glasses broke on me.  The place where the top of the left frame connects to the nose piece came off, and thus, my left lens had nothing to hold it in place.  So, I got permission to leave early and drove over to Marion Eye Center where I had gotten this (and my previous pair) of glasses.

Had gaming night this Saturday (the one at SIU, as opposed to the newer group at Logan).

Long ago I had bought a book on half.com and the guy I bought it from stiffed me (and, apparently, a whole bunch of other people) just got an email saying my claim went through, and they're going to refund my money.  Took a couple of months, but still, I'm tight on cash, so having that back will be a boon for me.
