Okay, so this Friday I got a rather nice surprise.  I went upstairs to watcha  movie with my mom and stepdad and they had a large rectangle package sitting in the seat with a card for me.  I'm like, "Whoa, what's this?"  Turns out it's a graduation present.  I open it up and it's a tripod.  And I'm thinking, "Wait... can't be... are they going to?"

Okay, where to start?  Haven't written in a bit, busy over the weekend, and Mon and Tues are my busiest days (usually have to work on have long classes on both nights.)

Long ago I had bought a book on half.com and the guy I bought it from stiffed me (and, apparently, a whole bunch of other people) just got an email saying my claim went through, and they're going to refund my money.  Took a couple of months, but still, I'm tight on cash, so having that back will be a boon for me.
