So I had the outside cat spayed. Of course, it’s never that simple. I brought her in the night before so as to be sure of catching her early. I like to have a plan. I discovered she doesn’t meow, just makes a squeaky sound.

I have to have extensive work done on the backed up pipes in the bathroom, which will mean extensive money spent. I'm soliciting opinions on a writing situation. Two English-speaking characters in France, who both speak adequate French, are in a situation where no one else speaks English. I caught my thumb in a wine corkscrew the other day. It bled longer than I would have liked and has now started to form a crescent scar.
