I have to have extensive work done on the backed up pipes in the bathroom, which will mean extensive money spent. Discouraging in that next year was going to be the time I got to reduce my debts in a meaningful way. It's depressing that for every step forward I take, I have to take one back. I've decided to be grateful this didn't happen in the summer when the bathroom would have smelt considerably worse than it does.

I've got "In Bruges" coming from Netflix but everything else I watch until the new year will be comfort dvds, so maybe I'll get together a year-end review later.
