It’s annoying when rainy season is over. Because when rainy season is over everyone (not me) gets obsessed with either cutting the grass or moving the leaves. Whatever befits the season. Both are loud exercises, either done early in the morning or all day long.
I did make cookies and I’ll have to reevaluate the baking method. The counter oven isn’t wide enough; I made the cookies as long as possible but they were too thick and not quite done in the center. This is going to be a problem because I am lazy and impatient and don’t want to make two bakings. Yet, I will have to. The biscotti were, however, still tasty. And because I can’t have sweets in the house without doing something about it, I ate them all.
I am playing my Fred Astaire LP, sound tracks from his movies. Some of the tracks include him tap dancing, just that, tap, tap, tap. On a record. And it is delightful.
