(no subject)
So I had the outside cat spayed. Of course, it’s never that simple. I brought her in the night before so as to be sure of catching her early. I like to have a plan. I discovered she doesn’t meow, just makes a squeaky sound.
When we got to the vet’s I opened the carrier, the vet’s she said, what’s that blood? Blood!!?!
At first she couldn’t find the source but it was pee with blood. Cat has a bladder infection, also a tape worm and fleas (well, fleas are a given). Vet started to tell me all the things that might be wrong. And said she’d call when she knew what was up.
She called but guess what? My phone, for the first time, was not in the network. Suddenly stopped working and I’m carrying it around all day (I hardly ever have it on), waiting to hear. I had to google to find out how to fix it. I get in touch and the vet is telling me the expenses are mounting up. But I tell her CA just sent me money to stimulate the economy; I’m going to stimulate my veterinarian. (I didn’t actually say that, but told her about CA’s check, so go ahead and do what needs to be done.)
So I’m sent home with cat and three medicines. Cat is currently in bathroom, jumping on things she’s been expressly forbidden to vault. My other cats want to menace her.
In other news, I have a dvd of Black Widow and a pizza. My life is complete.
And somebody is using a goddamn leaf blower just outside my house.
