I was listening to Christmas music sung in English while I was wrapping up some presents and it dawned on me why the music felt wrong somehow. On Saturday I learned how you really shouldn't try to bake cookies. You make a cookie dough and put a part of it in the freezer. Then you forget it there for a year. You take it out and decide to try to bake some cookies out of it. Maybe the dough would still be good? You're impatient so you put the frozen dough in the microwave to defrots. 10 ( Read more... )

I've been too busy enjoying my Christmas vacation to update. I'll try to write about my week with few words. On Monday I shopped for Christmas presents and baked gingerbread cookies. Christmas is coming and it seems that I've gotten very little done these past few days. I was convinced that it was Saturday today when I woke up, instead of Tuesday. I went to donate blood for the first time in my life! :o Me and MM went to the Blood Service office of the Rec Cross Finland at Kivihaka. We had the last of our Christmas carol concerts today with the orchestra. This one wasn't as tedious as the ones on Sunday. My old music playschool teacher was there to listen and came to talk to me afterwards. She recognized me based on my name as her daughter started at our orchestra this Fall.
