I watched a concert conducted by Gustavo Dudamel today that I had recorded from telly last weekend. It made me wish that I could've played with them. The concert sounded awesome and they were having so much fun while playing.

I was listening to Christmas music sung in English while I was wrapping up some presents and it dawned on me why the music felt wrong somehow. They were missing the more melancholic and sad Christmas songs that are an integral part of Finnish Christmas songs. And Finnish Christmas songs are possibly more religious as well. My karma works somehow. First I was sick for a week, then yesterday I got an orchestra scholarship (stipendi) from last year. They give three of those out each year. 75 euros baby! Did you know that you can make marsmallows yourself? I learned that from telly last week. I might try making some myself. I don't particularly like marshmallows, but I could make something more to my taste, if I made them myself.
