We are back safe from GenCon 2011 in Indianapolis. We had a really great time, and are REALLY happy to be home with the kitties.

Went to California.
Josh has 30 days of leave that would poof at the end of the year, so he decided to take them all at once (which isn't actually the easiest thing to live through but work gets me out of the house on occasion) and I took one week off of work. I fit an increadible amount of stuff on one book shelf.

I spent the day cleaning the corner of my "dinning room" which holds the majority of my supplies for various projects and hobbies. Its 9:15 am. I have until 5 pm to finish my final for enameling. Its been like this all week. And then tomorrow, instead of sleeping in finally, i drive to Ohio. Why do i always always schedule ohio trips for right after a period of time in which i attempt to kill myself? eesh!

Made it home safe, and in one piece, and so far as i know ive managed only to leave behind a few books, and those are safely at mom's from whence they can easily be retrieved.

Went to DC, loved the Metro train system, was wowed by the Nation Museum of Natural History, was no-where near the shootings at the Vietnam Holocaust Memorial,  thought the ( Read more... )

three weeks of lazy and vacation, here i comes!

i'm pretty sure i pulled off A's in the jewelry classes and possibly a B in museums. we'll see when the grades come in tho
