It's freakin' difficult to track down the lj-specific markup.

FAQ 75 contains a weird phrase:

but you can still see the full entry on the "Read Comments" page, the Preview Entry button, and the view entry link on the Post an Entry confirmation page.

This sounds as if you could see the entry on the button and on the link, while in reality, you can only see when you click on those things.

They changed update.bml's title on me from Update Journal to Post an Entry, so I had to go and edit 14 FAQs. Note to higher-ups: it might be time to seriously consider pauamma's proposal, if only to make my life easier as well as the lives of our dozens of translators ( Read more... )

FAQ 75 still says "Plain Text editor" instead of "HTML editor." That might be a little confusing for people who are looking for how to create an lj-cut in the HTML editor. :)

A user was kind enough to point out that the "Update Journal" link in FAQ 75 is incorrect. It links to livejournal.com/update (404 error) rather than livejournal.com/update.bml .

User in this request appeared to interpret the lj-cut section of FAQ 75 as stating you should use both variants of the opening tag (with and without the text= attribute).

Suggested wording change:By default, the link will say "( Read more... )", but if you want it to say something else such as "( Cut off here )", you can write the markup tag as ( Read more... )
