FAQ38 does not include a mention of  Sponsored Accounts.

I've seen this question come up every few weeks on the Support Board and I can't seem to find it in any of the existing FAQs. 131 doesn't mention advertising at all, and while 38 & 262 both mention displaying advertising it's in the context of Plus accounts displaying advertising, not paid account not displaying advertising ( Read more... )

Several FAQs need to be updated to reflect the increase in storage space/userpics:

FAQ 38 for userpics and storage.

FAQ 46 for userpics.

FAQ 131 for userpics.

FAQ 246 for storage space.

FAQ 183 for storage space.

That should be all, as far as I can tell.

This sentence is bothering me. "They have fewer benefits and features than Plus and Paid accounts, however they have less ads than Plus accounts." A few small changes ( Read more... )

Once Basic accounts return, FAQ#38 and FAQ#262 (and probably elsewhere) need to be updated to remove "no more basic accounts after March 12" note.

Currently, FAQ38 isn't very shiny related to the current unavailability of Basic Accounts. The first paragraph currently reads:

The TOS have been updated to mention Sponsored accounts as a new account level but FAQ #38 doesn't mention them at all, maybe because one can't create a sponsored account, only upgrade to it and because one must enable Cyrillic services first. Nevertheless, I think the FAQ should be edited to reflect the TOS ( Read more... )

Yes, people still ask this. The answer is in a FAQ, and we know where it is, but that doesn't do the new and clueless much good if the question isn't in the FAQ list.
