Does anyone know if WinXP Tablet and the software included with tablet PCs can recognize non-English Roman alphabet characters by default? I mean, I have a Palm, and the Palm handwriting recognition can recognize accented characters and letters like Ñ and Ç. Anyone have any idea how to get Polytonic Greek working on MS Word for the Mac? I have the Apple Polytonic Greek support installed, and it works like a dream. On literally everything but Word that is. It works perfectly on the freebie Apple word processor, but sadly that tends to bugger up my footnotes (of which there are many). I run on Mac OS X 10.4.3 and for awhile I've been having trouble viewing accents in Safari -- simple ones like á ó é etc.. The letters instead appear as random characters from the Hebrew alphabet. It's not happening at every site, so perhaps its the code of certain pages ( Read more... )
