On Saturday we stayed in a indigenous village about half an hour from Rosita. they celebrated Thanksgiving and we could spend the night there. it was really beautiful. i have been to indigenous villages here before and i like that they are all build along rivers. for them the rivers are natural roads. therefore there is no need to build roads ( Read more... )

i decided to post more photos. these are pix having been taken the last 2 days, when we had 2 groups of local farmers (those that are in the microfinance program) that we introduced to using computers. some people cannot even read or write, so they usually do not touch the computer, but let their daughter or son do the things with the computer. after my ramblings yesterday, now i got news from Rosita that actually are hard to believe.

Seems like 5 people have been killed until last night (4 of them yesterday, one already on friday). obviously for political motives (there are elections coming up this year in november and nobody really knows how heated up the situation will be ( Read more... )
