It occurs to me that this is pretty much the tenth anniversary of my move to the South, so it would be an opportune moment to reflect on my level of assimilation.

Last night akiko and I went to Panciuto in Hillsborough for our anniversary. We dressed up in our Victorian (well, mine's maybe a tad Edwardian and a tad period-schizophrenic, but whatever) costumes for the occasion. It was fun! Productive day, woo. Also very sore. Mainly from mowing the lawn, but that was the boring part of productivity. I also finally made it to the Hillsborough Farmer's market to buy some herbs.
