To the LJer who recommended Father Ted and Black's Books to me a while back.  I just watched the first series of each and they are a lot of fun - especially Black's Books.  Really enjoyed that one and all the great cameos by folks like Nick Frost etc.

Yesterday ended up working out okay, mostly.  The carpooling is awesome but getting up at 5:20 is rough.  I've been doing this semi-slack 9am/10am business for so long.  I gotta say though, getting home by 5pm has been awesome.  I might be losing a bit of sanity and sleep but the extra time to get things done (aka be alive) is a bonus.

• Ughh, I watched more American Idol tonight. It's nice to know that the judges can be kind... as long as you're borderline retarded or have your mother with you and don't look like a "bush baby". I'm still trying to figure out if the mother/daughter yin/yang gals were a put on or not.
