So, once again the pets are determined to not let me sleep beyond 6:30.  I'm certain this seems fair to them as it's an hour later than I normally get up... but I swear that some day I'm going to actually sleep in until 8:30!  It's the whole reason I set the alarm for that time ( Read more... )

Of course, having a time constraint would help that.

Irregardless, today is the first day of my new "eating right" motif and trying to actively do something about my weight.  I have caloric information, I've got a calculator, and my favourite beverage has no calories.  I'm set!

It seems like busy days, but there is that faint glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.

On the week-end I finished taping and mudding my new office area in the basement (which means that soon as I move into the space, viridis_ama will have an office, too).  I still have to sand, paint, and put flooring in place, but mudding the entire basement was ( Read more... )

The week-end consisted of:

• 3 meals out
• 3 hours working on a new business name/identity for my cousin
• a hair cut: "Look better, feel better"
  
• installation of a remote control dimmer switch
• Watching of The Black Hole (did not hold up well over time, or perhaps never was that good), Bride and Prejudice, and Toy Story 3 (rated VG)
  

This week-end ended up being more productive than I had thought it would be, which for all intents and purposes is a good thing!  Not that I set the bar very high for getting stuff done, but this week-end was a success ( Read more... )
