Wheee!! The surgery was moved back a few hours- due in at the hospital 11:15 CST for check-in and everything. Surgery starts at I think 12:30. Lettin' y'all know I was discharged from the hospital this morning.. They never were able to give me a solid diagnosis, but at least now most of the pain is gone. Yay fer IV pain killers- heh. Haven't been around much lately partly because of yet another problem I've yet to have mentioned here.. Kinda similar to Rob's difficulties- losing functionality of both my hands (and sometimes down to my toes) due to some pretty extensive nerve compression up and down my spine. Everything went pretty well with the procedure-- parts were pretty painful and some downright weird.. Like when the anesthetic hit, though it was only local, I started feeling really strange and giddy... and like someone was pushing down on my chest. Well, the proceedure wasn't too bad, although I will say it's generally not how I'd chose to spend my mornings. Ouchy-ouchness. It was pretty frickin' freaky too to see my insides up on a tv screen-- I glanced upward, got majorly squicked out, and then turned and bit my thumb for the remainder of the process.
