Sitting here on the verge of tears because I just opened a second letter from the hospital. The ER bill's now up to $2041.80, with the possibility of more charges on the way.
"You may receive additional bills from physicians who helped with your care while you were a patient at the Hospital. The Radiologist, Pathologist and Anesthesiologist are not employees of the Hospital. Thus, a separate bill may follow for their consultive services. You may have met them during the course of your treatment but, even if you did not, their services were requested and used by your physician. Please contact their offices directly if you have any questions regarding their bills."
God.. this is.. wow.. And a charge for an anesthesiologist??? Where the fuck does that come in?!!
