I got my second vaccination on Thursday and in less than two weeks should be at least a bit protected from whatever Covid decides to throw at us next (Indian variant heading our way). I did my Paracise class this morning then went out to get a birthday card for a friend at a local card shop, which is the first time I've been in a shop that wasn't a food shop or a pharmacy since March. I am very glad our ridiculous government has finally made the decision to make masks mandatory in shops as well as on public transport. Anything that may help prevent transmission of the virus is really a no brainer at the moment. I went back to the Globe last night to see A Midsummer Night's Dream. After the weather of the last couple of days we were really lucky to get a lovely clear evening.
